Interesting, the WordPress.com home page always had a button for “Start a blog” now they have added “Start a website”

This past summer I got to take a trip of a lifetime. That trip took me to Carovilli, Italy. The town where my Grandfather was born and raised. The town was beautiful and the food was delicious. I felt very peaceful there. I miss it so.

iCloud: Worry Free Backup

With all that one can do on an iPhone or an iPad these days it’s nice to know that your data can be safe. Safe in the cloud that is. After you update your device to IOS 5 you get the option to turn on iCloud.

Home Screen, Settings, iCloud.

On the iCloud menu you can turn on Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Bookmarks, Notes, Photo Stream, Documents & Data, and finally Find My iPhone. I could spend hours explaining all these options but I wanted this post to be short and sweet. If you want that information then please read it here.

The main reason for this post was about the worry free backup that comes free with iCloud. Well, the first 5 GB are free and you can purchase more if you like. In the iCloud menu keep scrolling down to the bottom to find the last option Storage & Backup. In the Storage & Backup menu scroll down to backup and turn on. What gets backed up to iCloud? Simple it’s all right here. (Scroll to the bottom)

The result? Well your devices are all backed up in the cloud and if something were to happen then restoration is as simple as logging in with your Apple ID and password.
